Produced by Tom Beaujour (Nada Surf, Juliana Hatfield) the track knits jazz, psych-rock, and post-punk into a frazzled narrative about the horrors of encountering your own surprise birthday party on a heroic dose of mushrooms. The B-Side, a demonic remix by A Place to Bury Strangers, pulls you deeper into the hellish trip with a soundscape like something John Carpenter cooked up in an acid lab.
