Between 2007 and 2014, Epitaph released two studio albums (\"Remember The Daze\" and \"Dancing With The Ghosts\") as well as the live album \"The Acoustic Sessions\" on the Baden-Württemberg label. As with it's predecessors, \"History Box 3\" once again features plenty of bonus material. Epitaph broke up after their 1982 album \"Danger Man.\" Although the two guitarists and founding members Cliff Jackson and Bernd Kolbe worked on new material, they released it in 1988 under the band name Kingdom. Around the turn of the millennium, Scorpions guitarist Rudi Schenker asked drummer Jim McGillivray why Epitaph wasn't continuing. - Spurred on by Schenker's interest in the band, Epitaph worked on a reunion. In January 2000, Cliff Jackson, Bernd Kolbe, Heinz Glass, and Achim Poret, the new drummer, gave a highly acclaimed concert at the sold-out Lindenbrauerei in Unna. After that, things slowly but steadily got back on track for Epitaph. In 2004, the band was invited to \"Rockpalast\" by WDR for the third time.
