Mike Clark - Kuon Ganjo [CD]

Kuon Ganjo, Mike Clark's third release for Wide Hive is fantastic! Featuring Patrice Rushen on Rhodes and piano, Essiet Odu Essiet on Bass, Craig Handy on Sax, and Eddie Henderson on Trumpet. Mike really centers into the New York sound he fell in love with early on here; starting things off with a burning East Broadway Rundown. The entire set is wonderful and the band is amazing, great album.
